Project Wild Thing follows David Bond (Erasing David) around the UK as he becomes the self-appointed Marketing Director for nature, and explores its increasingly disparate connection with children through engaging with different communities around the UK ranging from the Isle of Eigg to inner-city housing estates, talking to experts in marketing, nature and psychology, and also involving David’s own family in the film’s experiments.

We had the pleasure of spending time camping out with the team behind the project in the Peak District the day before the film’s premiere at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2013, and saw for ourselves how much passion and hard work has gone into the project. You can watch our interview with David below:

The film went on to be voted into the Top 10 of Sheffield Doc/Fest by the festival audience, and is on the track to success with its ambitious concept to engage public participation in what nature has to offer with the help of its supporting organisations, which include:

National Trust, RSPB, Play England, Play Scotland, Play Wales, NHS Sustainable Development Unit, AMV, Greenlions, Swarm.
