Happy People: A Year in the Taiga, Werner Herzog’s newest documentary since Into The Abyss, is to be released on the 25th January 2013.

Narrated by Herzog and co-directed with Dmitry Vasyukov,  the film captures the lives of a small isolated community living in the heart of the Siberian Taiga in Bakhtia, a small village along the river Yenisei.
